hello, friend.
I hope this post finds you well and at peace – and living within the season Christ has you in.
it’s easier typed out than lived out, I know all too well the difficulty of being in a season of life you find yourself in that is full of discontentment and the longing to live within the seasons of others around you.
but here’s a thought to sit with – it’s just as difficult to fight the season God is seeing you through.
my life at 29 is, in many ways, nothing like I had hoped and dreamed of.
I’ll soon be opening the chapter to a new decade of life, and bringing very little into it that I once thought I would be at this point.
but I have come to the crossroads of realizing I can either live in self-imposed disappointment of my life or resiliently adapt and allow God to make my life beautiful within it’s own season.
after choosing to live in the first for six years, I have decided that it’s worth it to take a risk and try embracing the second.
my intentions for this blog is to be very real and raw in my journey to heal from infertility, miscarriage, the deaths of both my parents, childhood abuse, and finding my way within my walk of faith.
above all else, I hope the words I lace together are ones you draw inspiration from and that they encourage you to live the season of life you find yourself in to the fullest extent!
I’ll also be sharing some lighter bits and pieces of my personal life, too – photography, recent nourishing meals, various creative pursuits, travel + adventure posts, personal thoughts, some low-tox favorites, and the highs and lows of a beginner homesteader.
So, I invite you to grab your favorite hot cuppa, find a comfortable spot, and allow yourself to sit and just be when you are tucked away into this tiny little corner of the internet here on the blog!
